Frequently asked questions

How much will I pay?

Our hourly rates include the cleaner's wage and the agency fee. Rates vary depending on the number of hours you require each week - the more you have the cheaper the hourly rate. Please see our price schedule to get an exact total cost per hour.

Are your cleaners vetted?

Yes. Initially we carry out a telephone interview. If the applicant seems suitable we then arrange for a more thorough interview taking 1 hour to take place in their own home. Only after taking proof of ID and address along with two references which we check, do we accept them onto our database. We then monitor every cleaner thoroughly for the whole time they are with us.

Can I meet my cleaner before the first clean?

Of course! We understand personality can be a massive factor in how you get along with your cleaning service provider so you can meet your cleaner before work begins. During this time you can discuss your expectations of the service or any important details that may need explaining.

Is my cleaner covered for sickness or holiday?

It is entirely up to you. You have the option either not to receive the service for the duration of your regular cleaner's absence or we can arrange a temporary cleaner for you.

Will I have to be present when my cleaner cleans?

No, our cleaners are vetted and are happy to hold your house keys. We will provide you with a Key Acknowledgement Form for your cleaner to sign.

Do I have to supply cleaning materials?

Yes, our cleaners do not carry their own materials as the majority of our clients prefer to specify the substances used in their homes. Please be aware that due to health and safety bleach is a banned substance.

Can I change my cleaner for another if I am not happy?

Yes, of course, we have a large and varied cleaner database and are happy to assign someone different if you are unhappy for any reason. Just give us a call.

Do you have insurance cover?

Yes, including £1,000,000 public liability insurance.

Do I get to choose when my cleaning takes place?

Our cleaning services only ever take place during the times you specify. We will endeavor to ensure we have a cleaner available when you want them.

What happens if my cleaner does not turn up?

In the unlikely event your cleaner does not turn up please get in touch with us. We will contact the cleaner to find out why they did not turn up and, if you wish, arrange for another cleaner to attend either temporarily or permanently.
