Cleaner needed for Part time work in Whitby

Local cleaners needed to work in private households in Whitby (and surrounding areas) carrying out general cleaning and other domestic tasks. This is part-time up to around 16 hours a week, and often carried out while the homeowner is at work. The range of tasks done by cleaners depends on what the homeowner requires. But they can include any of the following and maybe more:

• dusting and polishing furniture
• cleaning windows
• vacuuming floors
• mopping floor tiles
• ironing clothes
• washing up pots and pans

For the vacancy, you need:

• To enjoy undertaking practical tasks.
• To be reliable and hard-working.
• Know-how of using household cleaning products and materials.
• The ability to clean without being supervised.
• To pay attention to detail.
• To work as part of a team with other cleaners, if needed. Cleaners may be asked to do a one off blitz clean for a special occasion. For example, washing down paintwork and walls, clean out cupboards and shampoo carpets. All cleaning products and materials shall be provided by the client. Payment shall be made on the day of each clean.
