Cleaner required for Part time job in Caldicot

Domestic cleaners required to work in private households in Caldicot (and nearby areas) carrying out general cleaning and other house cleaning duties. This is part-time up to a maximum of 20 hours a week, and often carried out while the homeowner is out of the house. The range of tasks done by cleaners depends on what the homeowner wants. But they can include any of the following and some more:

• dusting and polishing furniture
• cleaning windows
• vacuuming carpets
• mopping floor tiles
• ironing clothes
• washing up pots and pans

For the role, you need:

• To enjoy undertaking practical tasks.
• To be reliable and motivated.
• Have knowledge of using household cleaning products and materials.
• The ability to clean without supervision.
• To pay attention to detail.
• To work as part of a team with other cleaners, if needed. Cleaners may be asked to do a one off spring clean for a special occasion. For example, washing down paintwork and walls, clean out cupboards and shampoo carpets. All cleaning products and materials shall be given by the customer. Payment shall be made on the day of each clean.
